Target House - Stanford St. Jude Championship

On Tuesday, June 5, PTWA partnered with Target to host our annual BBQ for the children and families of Target House. While some of the children were sliding down the huge two-story inflatable slide or were enjoying having dinosaurs and butterflies painted on their faces, others joined PGA TOUR professionals on the very challenging putt-putt course that was set up in the courtyard of Target House. After finishing their rounds, many headed over to enjoy all of the great food while they discussed the many difficult shots made during their rounds. All who attended had a wonderful time interacting with these incredible kids and their families.
Target House was founded by Target in 1999 and is a home away from home for the families with children being treated at St.Jude Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org). The PTWA has supported Target House since its beginning and built the playground at the facility. It was a wonderful evening filled with clowns, great food, arts/crafts, a putt-putt course, a BIG slide and lots of laughter for everyone.

We have several fundraising and Volunteer Service Projects in the planning stages. Watch for more information as the details are confirmed!
