The PTWA took advantage of the new tournament date,
the new, beautiful Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass and
the Limited Edition Pink Lady Golf Bag to raise money and
awareness for the PTWA during THE PLAYERS Championship. Raffle
tickets were sold during the week and during the City of Jacksonville's
THE PLAYERS Downtown Experience, to benefit the Ronald McDonald
House of Jacksonville. Raffle winner, Mary Ann Woods, bought
her ticket on Saturday, after seeing a television story about
the PTWA project.
The fundraiser
was a great success, not only in supporting the local Ronald
McDonald House, but in helping us raise awareness for our
Association through the many television and print interviews
the Limited Edition Pink Lady Golf Bag generated.
We have several fundraising and Volunteer Service Projects in the planning stages.
