2008 Bowes Award

Each year, the PGA TOUR Wives Association presents a member of the PTWA the Bowes Award. The award was established in 2000 in memory of Susan Bowes, who was a friend to our organization for many years and who was instrumental in helping us establish and improving our fundraising activities.

This award is given to a member who exemplifies the qualities that Susan embodied: hard work and dedication to the PGA TOUR Wives Association in support of our mission to help children and their families in need.

This year, the award is going to a member who's focus on fundraising and marketing made a significant impact and change in the way we market our organization. She was able to look at the bigger picture of branding and the value of partnering with various organizations and companies to help us form strategic relationships that will help us continue to build our organization in the coming years. She truly exemplifies the type of strong, intelligent and caring woman that makes up the membership of this organization. And she did it all while "gestating" and welcoming her first child.
