Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Center
EDS Byron Nelson Championship

Youth and Family Center
Tuesday morning of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship, the PGA TOUR Wives Association, represented by Julie Allidina, Amanda Byrd, Ami Garrigus, Sybi Kuchar, Sandy Perry, Julie Petrovic and Stacey Schultz, made a visit to the Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Center.  The group met with the director of the center, a psychologist, a few of the team leaders and supervisors. We were then presented anonymous case studies to illustrate some of the work the group does with children and families.  The Salesmanship Club has a three part mission; 1) education of children 2) therapy for troubled children and their families, and 3) sharing what they learn with other professionals.  We learned that 2/3 of the kids that graduate from their school are in college.  They provide up to 16 hours of therapy a week for troubled children and even feed them dinner 4 nights a week.  The median income for the families they serve is less than $20,000.  For more information on this wonderful program please visit www.salesmanshipclub.org
