Golf in the Garden at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
BellSouth Classic

Each year during the BellSouth Classic, the PGA TOUR Wives Association partners with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to present Golf in the Garden, an outing for the small patients at the hospital. It is held in the garden at the Egleston campus and the patients ride along in golf carts with our husbands, putting from hole to hole. Unfortunately, this year's unusually cool weather forced the move indoors for our small players, but the move didn't dampen the spirits of the pro or amateur players players!

On Tuesday, March 28, our inside golf course still had our littlest swingers asking for tips on hitting and putting and our biggest kids were right there, helping line up shots over casts, IV lines and crutches. Smiles were seen all around and, for a few short hours, thoughts of hospital beds and long fairways were put aside for miniature golf, ice cream and big guys with bigger hearts.
